Bobby Hill is "off the table," Fremantle's Joe Brierty said. Chad Warner, a West Australian free agent next year, is not: "if Chad's looking to explore coming home, we'll definitely engage." Tendai Mzungu and Nathan Broad join the coaches after Adam Reid and Jamie Graham left.
Bobby Hill is in the mix for West Coast's new Category B First Nations rookie spot. Matt Clarke: "he'll be just another one of those guys that we'll assess." On Trent Rivers' mate Chad Warner: "Chad's very happy where he is in Sydney... we'll continue to assess him."
Dane Rampe is away and yet to decide his future; Sydney's Chris Keane expects a call "over the next few weeks." Keane said the club's retention focus "hasn't changed, and won't change", and constant talks with the managers of Tom McCartin and Chad Warner, free agents next year.
Forwards coach Jamie Graham is off to North Melbourne, a move Fremantle's Joe Brierty called "so well deserved". Brierty said the draft comes first, with "our full suite of picks this year and the additional pick". On Sydney's Chad Warner: "we haven't had those discussions."
